November 2009

Sadly, we see the slow disappearance of very old Authenthic Vintage Cognacs. Les Antiquaires du Cognac have no more 1936 Grande champagne Cognac, and only few 1942 Petite champagne. And the 1952 Borderies is shrinking as well.

However, they have released a 28 years old, Fins Bois which is magnificent and contradicts the opinion that Fins Bois is a much lesser origin.

Also, with the arrival of summer , and the amazing growth of the cider market, we remind you of our range.

Press Review:

The Poiré Père Jules has been reviewed on the latest issue April/May of Donna Hay Magazine page 82.

"A nice afternoon tea tipple: This is like picking sun ripened pears in an orchard in the french countryside. it's a great drop any time of the day- I like it with a splash of blackcurrant liqueur" Deputy copy/web editor Belinda, Donna Hay magazine
