About the producer
In Bordeaux, region of France, Lillet is an aperitif wine with delicate honey, citrus, orange, lime, and mint notes. Perfected around 1872 by Raymond and Paul Lillet, this blend of wine, brandy and quinine was originally known as Kina- Lillet (as found listed in many older drink recipes), Kina being the French abbreviation for quinine.
Now 3 types of Lillet are produced. The only difference between the three is in the wine used. Lillet Blanc, Rouge and Rosé.
