The Brana started trading as négociants in 1897, specialising in wines from the south west and even going as far as importing wines from Rioja across the Spanish border. In 1974 the late Etienne Brana diversified the business even further by establishing a distillery to produce Eaux-de-Vie, including one of France's finest Poire William from orchards on their own estates.http://www.brana.fr/
