The mouth: Tarte tatin flavours with soft spirit and an easy fruity close. The sweetness of the pear.
Excellent intensity. Finishes with toffee apple and galangal. -

Here we appreciate the constant quality of the Domfrontais origin Calvados where a high ratio of pear to apple brings softness, roundness and ripe aromatics. The older vintages are more concentrated in aromas; this 2002 succeeds in being an amazingly mature yet young calvados.
