Created in 1886, Rivière du Mât is one of the oldest distilleries on Reunion Island still in operation today. Faithful to this heritage, the Master Distiller perpetuates this ancestral know-how with rigour and precision, allowing Rivière du Mât Rums to preserve their reputation throughout the centuries. Located in Saint-Benoît, on the east coast of the island, the Distillery produces Rums from molasses from sugar cane plantations on volcanic soil, which, combined with the pure waters of the eastern rivers, will bring to the stages of fermentation and distillation of unique aromatic tones revealing all the richness of expression of the Reunion terroir.
